Philippine Electronic Manufacturer, Cherry Mobile, introduced two new Windows-powered smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC) in Spain - the Alpha Neon and the Alpha View.

Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa: Specs, Price and Features

Philippine mobile brand Cherry Mobile has just added an octa core smartphone on their Flare Line-up, it features 5-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and support USB OTG - the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa.

As mentioned, it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz, coupled with Mali-450 GPU. The storage of the device can also upgrade up to 32GB. An android kitkat operating system is installed.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa is equipped with 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel camera on front. For ₱4,499 suggested retail price, it comes with 1,800mAh battery out of the box.

Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force (4orce) is a 64-Bit Quad-Core Smartphone with LTE for ₱6,999

Just recently, Cherry Mobile officially announced the Cosmos Force (4orce) - an another cheap LTE-enabled smartphone features 64 Bit Quad-core CPU with large internal memory for under 7K.

The new Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force has a 5.26-inch HD IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection, powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM. There's an 18-megapixel AF and BSI camera on back, while an 8-megapixel with BSI on front. The photos will be save on its 16GB internal storage.

Philippine phone manufacturer, Cherry Mobile has just reveal a new smartphone packs 4,000 mAH battery with octa processor, the Fuze S.

The device features 5 inches FWGA display with Android Kitkat operating system. As mentioned, Cherry Mobile Fuze S is powered by a Mediatek 1.4 GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 1GB of Ram and an 8GB internal storage. If the memory is not efficient for you, a micro SD slot is available that can support up to 32 GB.

In addition, the device have 8 megapixel rear camera while a VGA camera on front. For ₱4,499 price tag, it also support USB OTG.

While electronic manufacturer around the world were unleashed their products at CES 2015, local mobile brand Cherry Mobile also reveal it's own powerful smartphone called Cosmos One Plus in the country.

The device packs 5.5 inches full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MT6595M processor, the Cherry Mobile Cosmos One Plus carries 3GB RAM for smooth multi-tasking. An IMG Rogue G6200 GPU also equipped in the device for hard-core gaming experience.

Cherry Mobile reveal the Rover, a waterproof  Android smartphone with an IP67-certified body, quad-core CPU and a large battery capacity.

How to Update Cherry Mobile Flare S2 to Android Kitkat?

Did you know that Cherry Mobile Flare S2 operating system (Jelly Bean) can now update to Android 4.4 Kitkat via OTA.

Here's the step on how you can update your smartphone operating system:

Required: You should have a Wi-Fi connection to download the software and make sure that your smartphone battery has at least 80% battery level.

Step 1. Back up your data.
Step 2. Open the OTA update app.
Step 3. Download the firmware update
Step 4. Click Update Now
Step 5. Your device will boot and wait for it to finish in about a minute.
Step 6. After updating, do a restore to factory setting. This is required to update the stock Kitkat Messaging App.

Cherry Mobile recently added new smartphone on its Omega line-up, the Omega Icon. The new android phone features a Pleather back cover, accented with chrome-finished sides, and protected with Dragon Trail glass with a Php6,499 price tag.

One of the leading local mobile brand Cherry Mobile, announced the thinner and lighter successor of their CM Razor, the Cherry Mobile Razor 2.0. It packs a bigger display with a higher HD resolution, thinner frame and a better camera.

MyPhone Agua Rio VS Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum

Myphone and Cherry Mobile releases their quad-core smartphones for summer- the Agua Rio and the Omega Spectrum. They have the same tagged price at Php4,999.

The two smartphones has almost the same specs, they both have 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory that can expand up to 32GB via microSD, 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front facing camera, powered by a 2,000mAh battery and running Android 4.2 Jellybean. . They also the same supports USB OTG, Wifi, Bluetooth, HSPA, 3G, and GPS.


The Myphone Agua Rio has slightly higher CPU at 1.3Ghz Mediatek MT6582M quad-core while the Cherry Mobile Spectrum has an 1.2GHz Broadcom BCM 23550 quad-core processor.

They have also the same 5-inch HD IPS display at 294ppi but the Spectrum packs Dragontrail glass and supports Miracast.
