The new car weighs lighter than its predecessor because of it's lightweight material and it will be sure to less fuel consumption up to 20 percent. The 12.3-inch configurable display in the Passat is the company's new digital dashboard. It also has a Park Assist and a 360° camera view option.
The 2015 Passat will be have a four-cylinder, 2-liter twin-turbo diesel engine with 240PS and 500Nm of torque on tap, mated to a new seven-speed paddle change gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The company will be releasing more details in July, before its in-the-flesh reveal in the French capital this autumn.
